The UN World Food Program, providing food support and technical assistance to countries with humanitarian and disaster -prone issues. By 2030, the international community is aiming to stop hunger in all forms and ensure food securities. The UN World Food Program is developing a project to expedite the impact of disaster risk on vulnerable communities, especially on herder livelihoods, to facilitate mapping and agricultural, crop and weather information to herders.

The representatives of the UN World Food Program met with Ms. Ariunzaya Ayush, Chairperson of the National Statistics Office of Mongolia, in collaboration with the relevant experts to initiate of signing the Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of the project and to cooperate in delivering quantitative data on agricultural and crop data using GIS and capacity building on how to using it.
